Third Culture Kids (TCKs) is the term used to describe anyone from anywhere who has spent time growing up outside their home country. The TCK forum is an informal network for anyone concerned with the welfare of TCKs. Resources and forum papers regarding TCK care, including policies and procedures, can be found on this page.

  • MK/TCK Staff Training course - Essential pre-field training for anyone serving with children of missionaries and Third Culture Kids.
  • Digital parenting video from the More Network in Canada - This training helps equip parents and caregivers with important knowledge about the hidden dangers of this digital age. The More Network is the parallel body in Canada to the MC & TCK Forum.
  • Educare - Educare is published 4 times a year (January, March, June, September) and covers a wide range of third culture issues from preparation of children for cross-cultural living to re-entry to the passport country, boarding to home schooling and much more.
  • EuroTCK - EuroTCK is a Christian faith based pan-European working group for those interested in TCK issues. It is a sub-network of the European Evangelical Mission Association (EEMA) and comes under their structure and authority.
  • rekonnect Camps for returning TCKs - rekonnect camps offer children and teenagers five fun-filled days with others who have lived overseas and now find themselves back in the UK. There are camps for those aged 6-12 (rekonnect kids) and those who are 13-18 (rekonnect teens).
